Impressive war drama in two parts. The first, "Résistance," is surprisingly humorous. The second, "Liberté", is more exciting. And curiously, the biggest asshole in the whole movie isn't Adolf Hitler, but Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Chien 51 (2025) ***

A dystopian action thriller from France. Fairly conventional, but far superior to similar Hollywood products, because it focuses more on characters and their psychological motivations, and far less on fireworks and explosions.

Visually impressive French cartoon about the love of nature.

Impressive VR experience about a siege of a medieval town in southern France.
