Gerald is kidnapped by mysterious aliens from the planet Moo, who want to establish friendly relations with the planet Earth. Some serious communication problems result from aliens mistaking Gerald's "boing-boing" sounds for a human language. Linguistic complcations aside, the cartoon is also memorable for its off-beat humor (the king of Moo arrested for speeding by a cop in outer space).
