Wacky German film about foot fetishism, Holocaust, documentary filmmaking and just plain garden-variety craziness.
The Square (2013) *
Documentary about the Arab Spring in Egypt between 2011 and 2013. Interviews with some youth from Tahir Square, but little sense of what was really going on politically in the country.
82 Days In April (2013) *
Grieving parents, whose son has died, make the same trip as he did. Boring Belgian film set in Turkey.
The Summer House (2013) *
Boring Swedish film about a bunch of young people spending a few days in a country house near a lake.
Love Me (2013) **
A Turkish man falls in love with an Ukrainian woman in Kiev. A coproduction between Ukraine and Turkey.
3x3D (2013) **
A triptych film directed by Peter Greenaway, Jean-Luc Godard and some Portuguese dude. The Greenaway segment is a visually beautiful, but tedious journey across the history of the city of Guimaraes.
Roa (2013) *
Boring drama from Colombia. Set in 1948, the film seems vaguely inspired by "Taxi Driver", but it's tedious beyond belief.
Filmistan (2013) **
Bollywood comedy about an aspiring Indian actor kidnapped by Pakistani terrorists.

Black comedy about a English teacher trying to get rid of his student mistress during a weekend in France.
The Liability (2013) **
Uneven, but original British crime movie about a hit-man (Tim Roth), his chauffeur and the chauffeur's stepdad.
Molly Maxwell (2013) **
Sweet and innocent little movie about a 16-year-old girl who falls in love with her young teacher.
The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones (2013) **
Entertaining Canadian horror/action extravaganza about demon hunters, vampires, werewolves and other cuddly creatures.
Cas And Dylan (2013) **
Quirky road movie about an unusual May-December friendship. Charming, but very "deja vu".
The Art Of The Steal (2013) **
Badly directed and unevenly written Canadian caper flick that nonetheless has a surprisingly strong third act.
People Of The Feather (2013) **
Ecological documentary about Hudson Bay Inuits, whose ecosystem is affected by hydroelectric projects.
The Grand Seduction (2013) **
Brendan Gleeson stars in this English-language remake of Quebec's ''La Grande Séduction". Set in Newfoundland.
