Jimmy Carr: His Dark Material (2021) ***
This Netflix stand-up comedy show by Jimmy Carr includes probably the most infamous joke of all times. Carr himself has referred to this joke as a "career-ender" and it has been cited by the British government as an example of speech that should be forbidden by law. But while this joke might seem racist and insensitive at a first glance, what it really does is to condemn the hypocrisy and the double standards of people who denounce some genocides but deny others.

Pleasure (2021) **
A disappointingly conventional portrait of the American adult film industry, as seen through the eyes of a naive Swedish newcomer. Except for nudity, the film is so tame and predictable in every respect that it makes even Coleen Moore's gentle 1926 comedy "Ella Cinders" look daring and transgressive by comparison.
