The Great Race (1965) ***

A huge improvement over "Around The World In 80 Days" (1956), this Blake Edwards' comedy about a car race from New York to Paris (via Alaska and Siberia) has its weak moments, but benefits from two excellent songs and bravura comic performances by Jack Lemmon and Natalie Wood.
