Like "Terror Of Tiny Town" (1938), this is a cult film due to its unique High Concept idea related to casting - it's a gangster film, but all roles are played by young children.

The first, Oscar-winning "Rocky" is still the best, with a stirring musical score, great performance by Sylvester Stallone and a touching story.

Family Plot (1976) ***

Small crooks interfere with big crooks in this ingeniously plotted thriller. Alfred Hitchcock's last picture.

Harlan County USA (1976) ***

An Oscar-winning documentary about a coal miners strike in eastern Kentucky. Interesting film to see, especially in light of the fact that Harlan County, presented in the film as a model of union activism and progressive idealism, in 2008 voted for John McCain over Barack Obama by a margin of 73% to 26%.
