Damage (1992) **

Alien 3 (1992) **

Very stylish horror film set in the outer-space. Visually superb, but boring. It lacks the claustrophobic intensity of Ridley Scott's original and the nerve-wrecking, overwhelming energy of James Cameron's sequel. Instead, director David Fincher (in his film debut) makes a gory, nihilistic statement about the future of humanity, a very disturbing and unpleasant film. Action scenes are weak, but the film is far being a failure - its bare, desolate settings create an atmosphere of gloom, pessimism and hopeless despair.

The Bodyguard (1992) **

Shamelessly manipulative, but quite effective film starring Whitney Huston and Kevin Costner.

Death Becomes Her (1992) **

A black comedy starring Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn and Bruce Willis.

The Hand That Rocks The Cradle (1992) **

A young mother almost looses her family to a cunning babysitter.

The Last Of The Mohicans (1992) **

An adaptation of J.F.Cooper's famous novel.

My Cousin Vinny (1992) **

Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei are superb in this otherwise routine courtroom drama set in Deep, Deep South.

Passion Fish (1992) **

Interesting film about fame, addiction and friendship.

Raising Cain (1992) **

A mad scientist kidnapps little children to study their psychology.

Rush (1992) **

Gritty, very realistic film about two undercover cops who slowly become drug addicts. Too depressing.
