The Little Vampire (2000) **

Directed by Ulrich Edel. With Jonathan Lipnicki, Richard E. Grant and Rollo Weeks. A watchable Halloween flick about a bunch of lovable vampires who refuse to drink human blood, prefering to suck on cows instead. Lipnicki plays a America boy living in Scotland, who helps them recover a precious gemstone that will make them human again. It’s well-made and moderately entertaining, but only toddlers in diapers are likely to be scared by such inoffensive kiddie horror film.
