The Pianist (2002) ***
Roman Polanski's most serious film. Based on a true story of a Holocaust survivor.
Sweet Sixteen (2002) ***
British drama directed by Ken Loach that won a Best Screenplay Award at the Cannes Film Festival.
Québec-Montréal (2002) ***
Excellent Canadian comedy about relationships between men and women, set on a single day in several cars travelling from Quebec City to Montreal.
Shallow Hal (2002) ***
Very funny comedy about a skirt chaser who has been brainwashed to only see a woman's "inner beauty".
Signs (2002) ***
Basically like "E.T." or "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind", except that the aliens are nasty.
Star Wars: Episode II - Attack Of The Clones (2002) ***
The weakest of all "Star Wars" films, but still memorable for its exciting action scenes.
