Finsterworld (2013) **
Wacky German film about foot fetishism, Holocaust, documentary filmmaking and just plain garden-variety craziness.
The Square (2013) *
Documentary about the Arab Spring in Egypt between 2011 and 2013. Interviews with some youth from Tahir Square, but little sense of what was really going on politically in the country.
82 Days In April (2013) *
Grieving parents, whose son has died, make the same trip as he did. Boring Belgian film set in Turkey.
The Summer House (2013) *
Boring Swedish film about a bunch of young people spending a few days in a country house near a lake.
Love Me (2013) **
A Turkish man falls in love with an Ukrainian woman in Kiev. A coproduction between Ukraine and Turkey.
3x3D (2013) **
A triptych film directed by Peter Greenaway, Jean-Luc Godard and some Portuguese dude. The Greenaway segment is a visually beautiful, but tedious journey across the history of the city of Guimaraes.
Roa (2013) *
Boring drama from Colombia. Set in 1948, the film seems vaguely inspired by "Taxi Driver", but it's tedious beyond belief.
Filmistan (2013) **
Bollywood comedy about an aspiring Indian actor kidnapped by Pakistani terrorists.
