Kiss Me Kate (1953) ***

Kathryn Grayson gives the finest performance of her career as Lilli Vanessi, a divorced stage actress playing Kate in a musical version of Shakespeare's "The Taming Of The Shrew" and fighting with her former husband (Howard Keel playing Fred Graham playing Petruchio).
