Necrology (1970) ***

A weird experimental movie filmed on an escalator in the PanAm Building in New York. It features people facing the camera and moving up (the film was reversed). But the real joke comes afterwards, when the entire "cast" is listed in order of appearance (with characters described as "an assassin", "an assassin's assistant nr 2", etc.). It's perhaps the only film whose final credits are at least as important as the filmed footage. Directed by Standish Lawder.
