Magic Hunter (1994) *
Hungarian film about a cop receiving seven magic bullets from the Devil. Directed by Ildiko Enyedi ("My 20th Century").
Cancion de Cuna (1994) **
Moving drama about Spanish nuns raising a little orphan girl. A quiet film, winner of three awards at the Montreal Film Festival (Best Director, Special Grand Prize of the Jury and a honorable mention for the Ecumenical Prize).
Faust (1994) *
Directed by Jan Svankmajer, it's mostly a live-action film, with very little animation (mostly claymation).
The Bodyguard From Beijing (1994) *
Obviously inspired by the Kevin Costner-Whitney Huston vehicle, it's a shamelessly subserviant allegory about People's Republic of China protecting Hong Kong.
