Auguste Lumière, his wife Marguerite and their daughter Andrée are having breakfast in the countryside. This short film by Louis Lumière was the seventh motion picture ever shown to a paying audience, at Le Salon Indien du Grand Café in Paris on December 28, 1895, where the Lumière brothers hosted the very first public screening of their works.
