Pluto's Judgement Day (1935) ****

Cruel Pluto is scolded by Mickey for tormenting a poor little kitten and falls asleep, dreaming of being kidnapped by vengeful cats, who bring him before a kangaroo court to answer for his crimes. He's almost burned at a stake, but fortunately manages to awake on time. Appropriately macabre settings in the best tradition of the early Disney shorts.
