All My Life (1966) ***

An exquisitely beautiful experimental film consisting of a long pan along a wooden fence lined with rose bushes. Lyrical music (by Ella Fitzgerald) and splendid colours give this film a unique feel of melancholy and peace. Possibly an inspiration for the opening scene of David Lynch's "Blue Velvet" (1986). Directed by Bruce Baillie.
