Life in a tropical village, where natives communicate using taa tam drums and other musical instruments.

Amusing cartoon about stupid dinosaurs jumping off cliffs. Only those who learned to fly managed to avoid becoming extinct and evolved into modern birds.

There was a time when people lived under the sea. Until one day, a shark...

A fairly confusing film that seems to be dealing with rabbits, hunters, dolphins, soldiers and other mean creatures.

Arkelope is supposedly the oldest animal on Earth. Having survived the extinction of dinosaurs, will he survive the ravages of the 20th century?
Another Froggy Evening (1995) **
In this sequel to the 1955 classic "One Froggy Evening", Michigan J.Frog is once again ruining eager promoters.
Clocks (1995) *
A semi-abstract cartoon with music by Elena Kats-Chernin. Winner of the Second Prize (short subject) at the Montreal Film Festival.
Achilles (1995) *
A homoerotic take on the Greek mythology hero. This film is so serious, it's dull.

Things To Do In Denver When You Are Dead (1995) **
A good, but routine gangster film starring Andy Garcia, Christopher Lloyd, Steve Buscemi, Fairuza Balk and Christopher Walken. Directed by Gary Fleder.
Rob Roy (1995) **
Despite the title, this is not an adaptation of the popular Walter Scott's novel. It's fairly slow moving, but the magnificent scenery of Scottish Highlands is a definite asset.
Outbreak (1995) **
Tense bacteriological thriller about an ebola-like virus wrecking havoc in a small American town.
Now And Then (1995) **
Nostalgic film about a friendship between four young girls. It's full of familiar themes, but the de-dramatized treatement of the material is an asset.
The Net (1995) **
A thriller starring Sandra Bullock as a computer nerd who discovers a terrorist plot on the Internet. The pacing leaves much to be desired.
Mr Holland's Opus (1995) **
This film wears its emotions on its sleave. It's touching, but a tad manipulative.
Mad Love (1995) **
Antonia Bird's film about two rebels without a cause (Chris O'Donnell and Drew Barrymore).
Kiss Of Death (1995) **
An average gangster film, starring David Caruso as an ex-con betraying his former friends.
Heat (1995) **
Film critic Richard Combs described this films as "an 80-minute cops and robbers drama whose parts are subjected to such minute inspection that it lasts nearly three hours".
Ernesto "Che" Guevara - Le Journal de Bolivie (1995) **
Interesting, but depressing documentary about Che's tragic guerilla campaign in Bolivia in 1966-1967. Excerpts of his diary are read over archival footage and shots of the actual sites where the fighting took place. The film demystifies Che's legend, showing how hopeless and quixotic his struggle was.
Don Juan DeMarco (1995) **
Johnny Depp is the world's greatest lover, while Marlon Brando is the world's greatest psychiatrist in this amiable little film.
Die Hard With A Vengeance (1995) **
Spectacular explosions are the only assets of this otherwise mediocre action film starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L.Jackson.
Devil In A Blue Dress (1995) **
A black "Chinatown", starring Denzel Washington. Well directed, but too predictable.
To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar (1995) **
Three drag queens are stranded in a small town.
Tom And Huck (1995) **
An adaptation of Mark Twain's novel, starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas as Tom Sawyer.
Casper (1995) **
Christina Ricci is delightful in this average ghost comedy about the popular cartoon character.
The Bridges Of The Madison County (1995) **
A little film about a great love affair, or a great film about a little love affair ? Actually, just a little film about a little love affair. Excellent performances from Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood.
The Brady Bunch Movie (1995) **
Not nearly as well written as "Clueless" nor half as entertaining, but still an amusing satire on contemporary life. It's a "culture clash" comedy, with the Brady family living a 50's lifestyle in 1995.

Canadian Bacon (1995) *
Lame comedy about American rednecks invading Canada. Michael Moore's only fiction film (and his worst picture ever).
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995) *
Even the bad guys agree that Kimberly the Pink Ranger (Amy Jo Johnson) is cute. She looks great in shorts, but when she wears her power ranger uniform, her face and legs are hidden. Another sexy dame is a bikini-clad warrior woman from a distant planet.
The Crossing Guard (1995) *
A jeweller (Jack Nicholson) wants to kill the man responsible for the death of his daughter.
How To Make An American Quilt (1995) *
A cross between "Fried Green Tomatoes" (1991) and "The Joy Luck Club" (1993), starring Winona Ryder.
Higher Learning (1995) *
Slightly hysterical film about racial violence on a college campus. Director John Singleton deals with many important and sensitive issues in this film, but his approach lacks subtlety.
Frank And Ollie (1995) *
A documentary about two great Disney animators - Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston.
A Walk In The Clouds (1995) *
Director Alphonse Arau tried to follow his 1992 hit "Like Water For Chocolate" with this movie. It's weaker in every respect, though the Napa Valley setting is lovely.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1995) *
Rich kids returning from a prom night are attacked by crazed country folks. A ridiculous, badly made horror flick starring Renee Zellwegger and Matthew McConoghey.
Sabrina (1995) *
A rather pointless remake of Billy Wilder's classic 1954 film, replacing Audrey Hepburn with Julia Ormond, Humphrey Bogart with Harrison Ford and William Holden with Greg Kinnear.
Nadja (1995) *
An artsy and tedious film about Dracula's daughter and her lesbian flirtings. Produced by David Lynch.
Boys On The Side (1995) *
Friendship among women is the subject of this film starring Drew Barrymore, Whoopie Goldberg and Mary-Louise Parker.
While You Were Sleeping (1995) *
Sandra Bullock stars in this romantic comedy about a young girl mistaken for a fiancee of a comatose patient.
Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995) *
Disappointing sequel to the Andrew Davis' 1992 hit. Steven Seagal is fighting the terrorists again, only this time, he's fighting them aboard a speeding train. Spectacular crashes and explosions, but nothing else.
