Highlander: Endgame (2000) *

Directed by Douglas Aarniokoski. With Christopher Lambert, Adrien Paul, and Bruce Payne. How bad is it? As bad as it gets. No plot, no humor, no characterization. Just mindless, pointless, and boring, violence. The film goes back and forth between the present and the past for no apparent reason, looking like a series of outtakes from many different movies. It might be noted that “Highlander: Endgame” is not a sequel to the earlier theatrical films. Rather, it follows the story of the TV show. But does anybody care? *
