Mickey's Choo-Choo (1929) ****

A very imaginative early Mickey Mouse cartoon with the mischievious rodent working as a railway engineer. Director/producer Walt Disney and animator Ub Iwerks create a wonderful universe of pure fantasy, where all inanimate objects move and behave like living creatures, showing an amazing elasticity and a rubber-like resilience. Excellent animation effects include subjective point-of-view rides down the mountain slopes through series of narrow tunnels.
