Where Friendship Ceases (1926) ****

Probably Paul Terry's greatest film ever, a fast-paced, inventive and very entertaining cartoon with Farmer Al Falfa, his cat and a bunch of mischievious rodents. The climactic scene showing Farmer Al Falfa dragged through a series of mouse holes might have been an inspiration for a very similar scene in Chuck Jones' "Mouse Wreckers" (1948).
