Curtain Razor (1949) ***

Theatrical agent Porky patiently listens to auditions by several over-eager hopefuls (including a singing hen that literally lays an egg and an Al Jolson-like duck). The most insistent auditioneer is a fast-talking wolf, but it turns out that his truly explosive act can only be performed once. The best gag involves a dog "managing" a whole flea circus.
