Frank Sinatra plays a drug addict in this once-controversial drama directed by Otto Preminger. Come to think of it, "once-controversial" seems to describe nearly all of Preminger's films from this period, like "The Moon Is Blue" (1953), "Anatomy Of A Murder" (1959) and "Advise And Consent" (1962).
