Fail Safe (1964) **

Serious drama about a nuclear "accident" between United States and the Soviet Union. It has one memorable scene with Walther Matthau speculating about the likely survivors of a nuclear war: clerks working in basements of large insurance companies (buried under tons of paper) and ... hardened criminals in solitary confinements.
