Betty Boop is selling cigarettes in a nightclub, where singer Irene Bordoni croons a sad, but beautiful song about a gigolo. It's quite odd to hear about "selling romance" and "paying for every dance" in a cartoon for kids. A lesson in family values circa 1932.
