Life with Feathers (1945) ****

Sylvester (in his film debut) becomes suspicious when a bird forces his way into his mouth. Suspecting a dirty trick, the cat refuses the meal and must defend himself from the insistent creature. In fact, the poor lovebird has suffered a serious heartbreak and decided to end his miserable existence. But Sylvester would rather starve than risk being poisoned.
