Triple Trouble (1916) *
This film was compiled by Essenay after Chaplin left the studio in 1916. The first half has Charlie working for a nutty professor. The second half consists mostly of out-takes from "Work" (1915) and "Police" (1916), as well as some footage from "Life" - an unfinished and unreleased film, planned by Chaplin as his first feature. Those sequences show Chaplin trying to sleep in a homeless shelter. The ultimate result is a confusing mess. Shot in early 1916, the film was only released in 1918.
