Three Orphan Kittens (1935) ****

It's a harsh winter and three poor kitties are abandoned by their owner. They find refuge in a quiet house, first playing in the kitchen, then invading the nursery and the music room. The film is remarkable for its brilliant use of perspectives and the excellent rendering of shining surfaces (glasses, polished floors etc.). The winner of an Academy Award for best cartoon short.
