Bugs Bunny Rides Again (1948) *****

Probably the funniest cartoon starring Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam ("the roughest, toughest he-man hombre that's ever crossed the Rio Grande"). The film moves fast from one hilarious setup to another, ridiculing the conventions of the western genre. The finest gags include bullets obeying traffic lights to avoid hitting one another, Bugs pulling a pea-shooter against Sam's ten-shooter and a railroad car loaded with bathing beauties.
