If I Had A Million (1933) ***
The best directors under contract at Paramount contributed a segment to this comedy about ordinary people who suddenly find themselves with a million dollars. W.C.Fields' segment features many car crashes. The funniest (and shortest) is the segment directed by Ernst Lubitsch and starring Charles Laughton. Other directors: Norman Z.McLeod, William A.Seiter, Norman Taurog, H.Bruce Humberstone, James Cruze and Stephen Roberts.
