Divide And Conquer (1942) *

Directed by L.Seiler for Warner Bros. A curious film. On one hand, it's an accurate warning about the dangers of the Nazi propaganda machine. On the other hand, it's also terribly xenophobic, trying to present a contrast between the supposedly stupid, gullible Europeans and smart, tough Americans who can never be fooled. This short film shouldn't be confused with a much longer film of the same title directed by Frank Capra. Length: 15 min.
