The Blitz Wolf (1942) ****

A very clever version of "Three Little Pigs", adapted by Tex Avery to the reality of German conquests in Europe. A Nazi Wolf tries to capture the three innocent creatures, but they put up a very stiff fight. It was Avery's first film for MGM and it received a well-deserved Oscar nomination.
