Donald's Diary (1954) ***

While the film tells the story of Donald's love affair with Daisy, the first person voice-over narration doesn't belong to Clarence Nash, but to Donald's refined look-alike rival from "Donald's Double Trouble" (1946). Waiting for Daisy (as she prepares for their date), Donald has a nightmare about their marriage together and he runs away to join the Foreign Legion, guarding an outpost in the Sahara desert.
