Assets include - stage legend Ethel Merman in a rare screen appearance, Marilyn Monroe and a couple of nice musical numbers. Main liability - a heavy-handed orchestration that slows down too many Irving Berlin's songs. Non-musical portions of the film might have been better as well. Musical numbers:
